ABOUT JEFF BURNSIDE

I’m a three-time national award winning TV news reporter honored by the Investigative Reporters and Editors, the National Press Club and Women In Communications (Clarion) and recipient of 10 regional Emmy awards. I've earned numerous news reporting fellowships including media law training, and have worked at some of the best TV stations in America including KOMO, WTVJ, WCVB, WSVN, and KING.

My reporting has:

• earned more than 25 national and regional journalism awards

• inspired changing multiple state and municipal laws

• helped put more than a dozen people behind bars

• saved the lives of countless animals

• preceded the closing of unscrupulous businesses

• fueled a US Supreme Court case and changed Navy policy

• forced millions of dollars to be returned to taxpayers

I am the past president of a major U.S. journalism association and have a proud history of significant philanthropic service and community engagement.
